[8.930][ANSWERED] HA Configuration

I have had some time to play with the HA active/slave setup in a VMware environment and do not know if what I am seeing is related to a configuration problem or to the Version of Astaro. The following is the setup

2 separate ESX servers both running 5.0u1
Network infrastructure is VLAN capable
The ESX Hosts both have 2 NICS with the following
Nic 1 = LAN, Management interface, and VLAN20 Plugged into a switch trunk port with VLAN1 Untagged and VLAN20 Tagged
NIC 2 = WAN plugged into a Switch port with membership of VLAN10

switches are connected with a trunk with VLAN1 Untagged and VLAN 10 and 20 tagged

I have LAN VLAN1 as 192.168.1.0/24
WAN VLAN 10 Connected to Cable modem and WAN IP
Heartbeat VLAN20 for HA

Both ESX servers have other servers running in addition to each having a VM for Astaro
Setup is ESX1 = Astaro 8.930 with 3 virtual NICS
1=LAN
2=WAN
3=VLAN20 Heartbeat

ESX2 setup = Astaro 8.930 with 3 Virtual Nics
1=LAN
2=WAN
3=VLAN20 Heartbeat

Setup went fine and from the first VM I was able to setup auto HA config and set the NIC to Eth2 = Vlan20 and then setup the 2nd VM on ESX2 with same configuration and then they both were able to see each other and joined together. Now comes the strange stuff LOL

When the Astaro VM that is active on ESX1 all clients on the network including the clients that are VM's on ESX1 can talk to the internet and to each other. The clients on ESX2 however lose connectivity to the internet but can talk to all other clients internally.

When I fail over to the other node the situation switches and all clients on ESX2 and non VM clients can talk to the internet but VM's on ESX1 cannot talk. If I shut down the VM Astaro that is acting as passive then all VM's and physical clients can communicate out to the internet.

It is acting like the Vswitch is getting confused. Both ESXi servers by the way are totally independent and not configured for VMwares HA or DR.
Any thoughts?
