I'm in the process of setting up SSL VPN following a total Astaro configuration reset (firmware version 8.202). I was not the admin who set things up the first time, and that person is no longer with the company.
I've followed the instructions in the Astaro admin manual AND in the "how to" video. The VPN client was uninstalled, freshly downloaded, then reinstalled the client. When I attempt to connect, the connection status reads:
"<<time/date>> TCP: connect to <<external IP address>>:6060 failed, will try again in 5 seconds: Connection timed out (WSAETIMEDOUT)"
The "automatic firewall rules" box is checked.
The only difference between my setup and the manual/video is my users are synced from Active Directory, where the examples created users local to the Astaro. The documentation does not indicate that local users are required for VPN.
Any suggestions? The big boss is traveling next week.
