Sorry for asking a noobie type question, but I've done my best to research this and got stuck.
Basically, I've installed Astaro using VMWare ESXI preconfigured image, and followed the steps exactly as shown in this YouTube video (Astaro Training Series - Ep.1 - Installation and Basic Configuration - YouTube) which basically were these steps:
FYI: Router IP: 192.168.0.250 - DHCP Range: 192.168.0.200-240
Astaro IP: 192.168.0.1
1. Clicked "cancel" to the Wizard and manually configured several things.
2. Enabled the External Network Interface to use the Cable Modem (DHCP) (AT&T Uverse modem does not allow me to disable DCHP unfortunately - 2wire 3801HGV) - it received the IP address of 192.168.0.203
3. Enabled DHCP on the Internal Network for 192.168.0.100-199
4. Added DNS Forwarding Servers: 4.2.2.2 and 208.67.222.222
5. Added Masquarading Rule: Internal Network --> External Interface
6. Added Firewall Packet Filtering Rule: Internal Network -- Any Service -- Internet IPv4
Going back to the Dashboard, I see traffic on both the internal and external network. I also got an automatic notification saying that there are updates to install. So I know that I'm close. My desktop PC receives an IP address of the 192.168.0.100, so I know that Astaro is assigning the DHCP
The Problem:
When I try to browse the internet, I can't pull up any web pages. It just spins and nothing pulls up.
Can anyone tell me what I'm missing? I really want this to work!
Thanks in advance,
Jonathan
