Hi all,
I'm looking for some advise on how Astaro handles QoS and if this will work for me.
My situation is as follows:
I have IP TV which is handled by my modem. Ethernet feeds split of to my TVs from there.
I then would connect my modem to Astaro.
From Astaro I would have 4 links to different networks. DMZ, LAN, wireless...etc.
I need to be able to control bandwidth so no particular network/user can hog all bandwidth, however I'm not interested in restricting a user from using all of it if no one else is using it.
Further I'd need to put priorities for VOIP, DNS, http or bulk traffic...etc.
I do however need to CAP the total internet bandwidth available to all of the networks behind Astaro as to make sure the IP TV does not get interrupted. :)
Is this possible? If so firstly would I apply to the WAN link or Apply to each internal interface?
Thoughts, help, info, greatly appreciated!
Need more info please ask.
Thanks!
