Begin of the AP5 beta program

I'd like to inform you that the AP5 beta program is about to start. It is embedded as part of the regular UTM 9 public beta. AP5 beta devices have been shipped to selected users.

To install the AP5, please proceed as follows:

1. Install the latest UTM 9 beta on your test system.
2. Configure RED10 rev.2 or rev.3 as usual.
3. Configure Wireless Protection.
4. Plug the AP5 into the USB interface of the RED10 device.
The AP5 will appear in the list of pending access points in the WebAdmin menu Wireless Protection >> Access Points.
5. Activate the AP5.
6. Assign a wireless network to the AP5.
For this purpose, go to the WebAdmin menu Wireless Protection >> Access Points >> Grouping tab and select a wireless network for the AP5, which is now operable.

Important Note: The AP5 can only transmit one single SSID. In addition, the number of wireless clients is limited. To each AP5, only 7 wireless clients can be connected.
