Hi All,
I have been suing Astaro only for a little while now and it is for home use. I think I know the answer to my question, but want to run it by everyone first and see if I am missing something or if there is a better way.
Scenario: I live in the Canada Eh! I have clients I do work for in the USA and have VPN access to their network. Now, I am lazy. When I say lazy, I mean really lazy. Having to connect through the VPN whenever I need to access their systems is simply to much work. I mean seriously, it's cold in Canada. I need to conserve my strength for Random Polo Bear attacks. What I am looking to do is have my ASG connect to my VPN and keep the connection going. When I typer certain URLs, I want it to run through the company VPN, while all other traffic is sent through my standard internet connection.
Solution: So, I believe this is my solution. Have two NIC's in my system that are connected through my ISP via switch. Each NIC will get it's own IP (DHCP). Configure ASG to connect via VPN with one NIC, while the other keeps it's normal Internet connection.
Now, I setup NAT policies to route specific URL's through the VPN interface, while all other traffic run's through the normal interface.
Does all this sound correct? Does anyone have a better way of doing this?
Thanks.
