I can not get exchange to send or recive emails . this is a brandnew install and i can send localy . My setup is like this i have ip 68.15.105.001 going to main internet , i have a second ip address i alocated just for exchange its ip would for this example be 68.15.105.002 so what i did is creat a internal mx rec on my server 2008 box hosting my mail server ... other services would be ad ,dns ,iss my primary server is also running ad, dns, dhcp, and file services what i have done so far is creat a full nat rule that points the ports for exchange on 68.15.105.002 to my server2 however i can not send or recive any emails out side of my local domain .... just to be clear on asg 8.3 i am not using dns dhcp on the box can any one point me in the right direction please use some pictures im still kinda new at this thing .. also my root domain is hosted on go daddy so i asumed is needed a mx record point back to my subdomain that the controler uses (ad.mydomain.com) my email address apears as follows nathan@ad.mydomain.com... im not chaseing me tale and need help ! p.s. 'Mail Security is disabled asg does nuthing to email by default PPS. I have contacted my ISP and they have Updated the PTR record for the address 002 (this is not a consumer cable line so no ports are blocked isp side)
