Hello Community,
I have the following Setup:
ASG 120 with Software 8.303 and multiple connected RED 10 Devices.
My Internal Network is 192.168.153.0 and we are using GIRA EIB/KNX Bus Multicast Communication for the internal Network devices such as blinds, lights etc.
Now my problem is to get the Multicast Packets over the RED Devices and back.
I have a Network 192.168.20.0 with my EIB IP Router on 192.168.20.20.
On my Internal Network I have the GIRA Homeserver Device on the IP 192.168.153.90 which sends Multicast Packets to 224.0.23.12/32 which works perfect on the internal LAN.
Now I have setup the PIM-SM Routing in the ASG with my both Devices, the Internal LAN Interface and the RED Interface.
As RP Router I have setup the GIRA Homeserver Device with the IP 192.168.153.90 and the Group prefixes: 224.0.23.12/32
After this I activated the PIM-SM Routing, selected both Interfaces and the RP Router and saved.
From now on I am able to get the Multicast Packets into the Red and my IP Router on the other end with the IP 192.168.20.20 receives the Packet for 224.0.23.12/32 and turns the light on or off.
My problem is now the way back from the RED to the Internal LAN.
If someone triggers the Remote Control in the Network of the RED Net 192.168.20.0 the lights turn off and the IP Router sends a Multicast Packet out to tell the homeserver his state "off" or "on".
The Internal LAN never receives this package. Nothing goes from RED Network to the Internal LAN, Internal LAN to RED seems to work.
Does anyone have an idea why or how to fix it?
I tried all kinds of combinations of Gateway Routes in the PIM-SM Settings and also Interface Routes etc.
I also tried a NAT Rule that everything from the RED Network going to the Multicast Network 224.0.23.12/32 should be Destination nated to the Homeserver on 192.168.153.90.
Nothing works...
I am really thankful at this point for any ideas.
