I am having more and more reports of unhappy users. We are having a fair amount of junk leaking through that did not before, but worse, we are having REAL mail blocked. From the US District Court, from online ecommerce companies like Amazon, from Grandma! I'm having to whitelist like crazy things I never needed to bother with before, and yet I get mail about ED remedies and money transfers from African countries that are unwanted.
Is anyone else seeing a rash of bad spam checking? My ASG shows that it has the latest pattern versions, and we are also up-to-date with 8.305. Except for a few whitelisted and blacklisted domains, we run a pretty "vanilla" installation. We have all advanced anti-spam checks enabled except for strict RDNS. I note that in the past my 24 hour stats have always shown me as getting about 17-19% mail delivered, and now it's often up to 23%, and that definitely coincides with the increase in spam that is leaking through.
