Hi all.
I am having some space issues on the partitions of my current ASG 8.301 software VM. To remedy this I simply built a new one in VMWare ESX5 with larger virtual disks. I made sure to make the other virtual hardware identical (same number of processor cores, NICs, etc) and made the NICs the same type as well as putting the right ones into the right VLANs.
I shut down the original, brought up the new one and imported a backup file to restore. After the restore and reboot, the "new" ASG is communicating and passing traffic, all NICs are up and connected to the correct network segments, but my web filtering rules are not working. We use standard mode with eDir SSO. It looks like users in groups where uncatogorized sites are ALLOWED can get to ANY site (no blocking is occuring), while users that are not allowed to see uncatagorized sites have EVERYTHING blocked and labeled "uncatagorized".
I am have the unsupported option of local content filtering database enabled on the original ASG - could this be causing the problem?
