v9 Unresponsive within a day

I have a Proliant DL380 G4 Xeon-DP 3.2G 2MB (2p) which I used initially when testing version 8. It has been up and running since May; currently at 8.306. Before upgrading my "Live" firewall server I installed v9 on this HP box. No issues with the install however within 24 hours the box becomes unresponsive. Cannot access the admin console nor can I get a response from a ping to either the external or internal interface. This happens even without restoring its 8.306 configuration backup. Any thoughts?
