Hi guys, I could use a little help.
My setup is ATT Uverse plugged into external interface on my astaro fw. The internal int. on the astaro fw is plugged into a switchport on a linksys router.
The ATT uverse is set to DMZ Plus mode, and the external int. on the astaro fw is set to DHCP. Both internal and external interfaces are "up" on the astaro fw.
I have created a masq. rule that is internal network --> external.
I have created a fw rule that is internal network --> any -->internet IPv4.
I have configured DNS forwarders set to 8.8.8.8.
If i go to support, tools menu i am able to successfully ping sites like google and yahoo from the astaro.
With all of that, I am not able to access websites or ping out to the internet from my PC. I have also configured the astaro to allow "ping through gateway".
I believe the problem is that my external interface has a private IP that it obtained from my uverse gateway. Shouldn't it grab my public IP?
Thanks for the help.
