Hi,
Installation:
ASG9 with 1 internal and 2 WAN interfaces.
Internal interface: IP 192.168.20.1
WAN1= SDSL, 2MBit
WAN2= ADSL, 16MBit
Active Interfaces order for uplink balancing: WAN1, WAN2, both same weight and persistance 1 minute.
I tried with transparent FTP-Proxy on and off. Same results.
Network:
My PC: 192.168.40.123, GW: 192.168.40.100
Astaro: 192.168.20.1
Routing-Switch (internal): to connect both networks: IP 192.168.40.x and 192.168.20.x
Problem:
I want to route FTP-traffic from my computer over the WAN2/ADSL interface.
OK, no problem I thought:
I defined a multipath rule with source 192.168.40.123, service FTP, destination ANY, persistence by interface set to WAN2/ADSL.
Result: FTP-Traffic is routed over WAN1/SDSL (instead of WAN2/ADSL). Fail.
Next Try: Change rule to source ANY, rest is the same: FTP is routed over WAN2. OK.
But I only want to route 192.168.40.123 over WAN2/ADSL for FTP and not all traffic.
So I tried to analyze:
In Flow monitor for interface: ALL
I clicked on Clients for Application FTP.
Details on FTP for 192.168.40.123 as Source (routes not correctly.)
# Client Bandwidth Usage Total Traffic
1 WAN-SDSL (Address) 297 KB/s 4 MB
Details on FTP for Any as Source (which then routes correctly.)
# Client Bandwidth Usage Total Traffic
1 WAN-ADSL (Address) 953 B/s 6 KB
2 sunsite.informatik.rwth-aachen.de 0 B/s 0 B
So why are there 1 or 2 clients and why is my PC not shown in the connections?
(OK, if the Astaro Box does not see my PC as source, it can't use the rule correctly...)
Other multipath rules used:
3 Internal network to Any [by Interface]
Internal (Network) → Any → Internet IPv4
→ WAN-SDSL
4 HTTP [by Interface] [by Interface]
LAN_192.168. → Web Surfing → Any
→ WAN-ADSL
Anybody any idea?
Where else could I check, whether Astaro sees the IP of my PC?
(FTP-Log is empty, others do not show anything...)
