VLAN for Guest Wireless from DD-WRT Wireless Router

I've been confused by this for a while and I'm determined to solve this.
Here's my configuration.

Cable Modem
|
VMWare Hypervisor: ESXi v4.1
Astaro UTM9 running on Virtual Machine
Several other VM's
|
Dlink Gigabit switch model DGS-1216T which fully supports vlan tagging etc....
|
Wireless Router (DD-WRT on Linksys/Cisco)

DDWRT allows for a multiple access points to be created on different channels with different security with one or more setup on VLAN's.
Detailed instructions are here: Multiple WLANs - DD-WRT Wiki

I've been trying to setup VLAN's on my system for quite a while to no avail.

Is the fact that I'm running UTM9 on a VM the source of my troubles?
None of the instructions I find on this site seem to work and I'm beginning to think it's something to do with the NIC on the Hypervisor.

My current goal:
Setup a dedicated Wireless Access Point for Guests where:
1. Traffic is using a VLAN and the traffic is separated from all other nodes on the network.
2. Provide DHCP services from the UTM9 device for this traffic.
3. Implement custom Web Filtering rules for this traffic.

Screen shots of Hypervisor Networking Configuration, Switch Config etc... are attached.
The Wireless Router and all physical workstations and servers are currently on the Virtual Machine Port Group named "Central".

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Doug
