Syntax for Exceptions filtering

hello, we have this syntax filtering exception .*domain.com.* this will be the same as ^https?://([A-Za-z0-9.-]*\.)domain\.com/

we have many domain exception with this syntax, if it is alright, we may leave it as it is?
