Hello,
i have set up a hotspot network from my UTM320. Used a seperate Interface to connect a couple of WRT54GL APs with no encryption.
On that Interface (172.16.0.1/24) I activated the DHCP Server of the UTM and gave it a range of 172.16.0.20 to 172.16.0.100. the DHCP Service on the APs is deactivated.
Now when I activate the hotspot functionality the clients connect to the APs okay but they receive no IP configuration from the astaro. I added the UTM to the "walled garden" list but that didn't change anything.
When I deactivate the hotspot it works fine, which means that I have configured the Proxy and Firewall so it can pass the desired traffic.
Am I missing something?
I just want a hotspot for guest without using sophos APs. In the help it says it also works with wired connections, which I assume is the same thing as having Clients connect to APs in the same Network.
Cheers,
Chris
