Ok so my friends and I who all have Astaro gateways running at home have setup site to site VPNs.
First off let me just say thank you to the Astaro staff because these site to sites rock and they're so easy to setup.
So we can browser each other if we punch in the IP address of the machine that we directly want to hit. But what I'm wondering is if there is a way to just have the machines automatically just show up? Like for example I'm browsing my network in Ubuntu all I see is my machines on my Lan. Is there a way to have Astaro show the rest of the machines.
One of the reasons that we're wanting to do this is so that if we're playing our PS3s we don't have to use the PSN in order to do a multiplayer game we could just link up as though if we were on a LAN.
The other question I have and I think that I got it setup correctly was with DNS. Say I want to connect to my friend via his machines name. I added their networks into my allowed networks for the DNS and I'll have them do the same. I also put in their Astaro IPs as DNS forwarders as well.
Thank you all in advance for your help with this.
