Like most folk eDir SSO and ASG Web Proxy is never going to work as it should. I have been told that the way to resolve this is to use ActiveDirectory. Poor response as many of our clients are not just going to ditch eDirectory - they would rather ditch the ASG!
So I have been looking into using the AAA as an alternative as this can also use the eDir user groups for client credentials. But in many networked environments users may work shifts or take over for other staff during lunch / holidays etc. They will use the same PC but their own login. I have been testing this with the AAA and found that it does not work!
It would appear that the AAA is a single user agent. Each user has to install the client or at least the certificate for the agent to work.
Has anyone else found this to be the case and or have a workaround for XP / Win7 desktops in a multiuser / hotdesk environment?
