Hi.
ASG 8.305 supports the Apple iOS VPN On Demand feature via Remote Access > Cisco VPN Client >> iOS devices. There is a check box for "Establish VPN connection on demand" and the ability to create a list.
When you add a host or domain to this list, it doesn't work as expected. The iPhone / iOS device interprets these fields as "establish as needed" vs "always establish". You can use the iPhone Configuration Utility and determine that there are three states for each entry in the list - always establish, never establish, and establish if needed.
I thought about filing this as a feature request, but it's really a bug because it should be "always establish" based on the description and expectation that someone would have for this feature.
Thinking of this more broadly though, ASG should allow configuration of all three states to fully support the feature. The need to use the iPhone Config Utility to make these changes kind of makes the feature in the User Portal problematic.
Thanks,
Jason
