Hi:
Running latest V 8.308 on an ASG 320 with web filtering.
Just in the past few days, www.cnn.com comes back as uncategorized. If I go to trusted source, it shows as general news. I can go fine to www.foxnews.com which is also categorized as general news.
Last month we were having the same issue with yahoo.com, and was on V 8.306. Trusted source showed it as properly cagegorized, but through the ASG, shows as uncategorized. Only way to get to yahoo was to put it into allowed sites.
Now, yahoo is still not working properly without being in allowed sited. However, just seemingly randomly, cnn.com is now showing uncagegorized. Again, only way to get to it is with the allowed sites.
Opened up support ticket with Astaro/Sophos on the yahoo issue and never did find a resolution. Opened up a ticket in the past few minutes with them on the cnn issue.
On the last ticket I was told that Sophos gets the database from McAfee/Trusted Source and then the ASG gets its updates from Sophos instead of directly from McAfee. Something happening in that process?
Anyone else having similar issues?
Thanks,
John S.
